The Hazardous Channel: Addiction to the Internet →

I think it’s stupid how society has developed to share (consequently becomes a habit not intending to show-off but does) every single detail of their life. It’s so stupid and irrelevant, no one really needs to know what’s going on all the time. Also sharing your thoughts aren’t interesting if they’re never original, and promoting yourself is overrated if it’s so consistent. I believe the internet, most definitely social networking sites, ruin the mystery behind people and their personas. You lose the thrill of getting to know someone when everyone’s history is posted online for research. Maybe I’m suffering from the absence of being intrigued because of technology. “Rarely do we interact with anyone face-to-face without already knowing a freakish amount of information about them.” Then again, what do I have to say if my hypocritical actions are necessary to let it be known through the object of complaint I’m talking about.
